Where do you offer services?
We currently offer telehealth services throughout California. In-person visits are available at select locations, with new clinics opening in San Gabriel Valley and Bakersfield in 2025. Check our locations page for the most up-to-date information.
Appointments
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Virtual appointments are often available same-day or within 24 hours. In-person visits can typically be scheduled within a week. For urgent concerns, we prioritize appointments based on medical need. Emergency cases should always go to the ER or call 911.
What happens during a telehealth visit?
During a telehealth visit, you'll meet with a board-certified allergist via secure video call. The doctor will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms, examine you visually as appropriate, and create a personalized treatment plan. You can show any rashes or physical symptoms via video. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your pharmacy.
Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, you can cancel or reschedule appointments through our app or by contacting support. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee unless due to medical emergency.
What if I need to see a doctor urgently?
For urgent but non-emergency issues, we offer same-day virtual appointments. You can also message your care team through the app for quick questions. However, for medical emergencies such as severe allergic reactions or asthma attacks, always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Insurance & Billing
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major insurance plans including:
- Anthem Blue Cross
- Blue Shield of California
- Cigna
- LA Care
- Medicare
- Many others
How much will my visit cost?
Costs depend on your insurance plan and the services provided. Most insurance plans cover allergy and asthma care. We'll verify your benefits before your appointment and inform you of any expected out-of-pocket costs. Self-pay rates are available and typically range from $150-300 for consultations.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans for treatments like oral immunotherapy and comprehensive testing. We believe cost shouldn't be a barrier to quality care. Contact our billing team to discuss options that work for your budget.
How do I submit insurance claims?
We handle insurance billing directly for you. Simply provide your insurance information, and we'll submit claims on your behalf. You'll only be responsible for any copays, deductibles, or non-covered services as determined by your plan.
Treatments
What is oral immunotherapy (OIT)?
Oral immunotherapy is a treatment for food allergies where patients consume small, gradually increasing amounts of their allergen under medical supervision. Over time, this can increase tolerance and reduce the risk of severe reactions. Our OIT programs have shown up to 90% success rates and can significantly improve quality of life.
